We have identified some factors that are responsible for this change and they are:

Without mincing of words, please take note that ABU Zaria has not officially fixed the JAMB (UTME) Cut Off mark for 2019/2020 academic session. However, the JAMB (UTME) cut off mark the school school for 2018/2019 academic session is 180.

Please note that scoring up to the JAMB cut off mark does not guarantee you admission in ABU Zaria. Rather, it only qualifies you to participate in the post UTME screening of the school.
This is why I always advice candidates to aim above the JAMB cut-off mark if they really want to get admission.
ABU Zaria Cut Off Mark – Post UTME
After the post UTME screening, the school will come up with new cut-off marks for each course. These cut-off marks are known as Post UTME cut-off marks. Students that meet up with the Post UTME cut-off marks are given admission.
Meanwhile those that did not meet up with them are denied admission regardless of the fact that they score up to the JAMB cut-off mark.
Please note that the Post UTME Cut Off Mark varies from course to course. In other words, the Post UTME cut off mark for Accounting is different from the one of Zoology.
It is also worthy to note that the Post UTME cut-off mark for each course in ABU Zaria varies from one academic session to another due to some of the factors we mentioned above.
Specifically, we have stated that the number of applicants for a course, the general performance of the applicants in the post UTME screening, and the admission capacity of that course determines the post UTME cut-off mark.
