Sokoto State University (SSU) has released the 2017/2018 admission form and date of Post UTME screening test. In fact we have been inundated with phone calls from the aspirants of the school who have been asking for the method payment and application for the post UTME screening test. This is why we deemed it necessary to write this post so as to explain how to buy and fill the form.
Please read the detail below. Meanwhile, we (Academia.com.ng) have made provision to assist candidates in filling the screening form on campus. Just come to our office in Sokoto State University (SSU) for us to register you for the Post UTME screening. Please call 08022292404 for direction to our office in Sokoto State University (SSU).
This is to bring to the notice of all candidates who applied for admission into the Sokoto State University through UTME and chose the University as their most preferred Institution (i.e. first choice) with a minimum score of 140, that the screening exercise for admission into the University for 2017/2018 session has been scheduled as follows:
Date: Saturday, 23rd September, 2017
Time: 9:00 am prompt
Venue: University Main Campus, Along Birnin Kebbi Road, Sokoto.
Please follow the registration procedure as outlined below:
Step 1: Visit the University website at www.ssu.edu.ng or directly go to www.screening.ssu.edu.ng
Step 2: Click on ‘2017/2018 Screening Exercise’.
Step 3: Login to the portal using your UTME Registration Number as Username and Password.
Step 4: Update your basic information and generate payment invoice.
Step 5: Print your personalized Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) invoice, and use it to make payment at any commercial bank nationwide. Applicants are required to pay the sum of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) Only as Screening Fee, transaction charges exclusive.
Step 6: After making payment, return to the website: www.screening.ssu.edu.ng, login again, upload passport, fill in the particulars form and print your Examination Card.
Criteria: Only candidates who chose the University as their first choice, scored 140 points and above are eligible for the Screening. Similarly, the candidates must have a minimum of five (5) credits at O’level (in not more than two sittings) including English, Mathematics and any other three (3) subjects relevant to their course of study. However, candidates awaiting O’level results are required to present their examination slips.
Note: Candidates should report to Twin Lecture Theatre where they will be directed to examination center. All candidates must submit the following before they are allowed to sit for the examination:
- Photocopy of UTME result slip
- Photocopy of O’Level result (where available)
- Evidence of payment
- One recent passport size photograph.
