The Student Affairs Division (Counseling Unit), University of Lagos is organizing the 2016 Career Week for students of the Institution tagged: “University Versus Reality”. The event which is scheduled to hold from Monday, September 26 to Saturday, October 1, 2016 in the Multipurpose Halls ‘A, B & C is aimed at ensuring that curriculum vitae (CV) of UNILAG students are assessed, giving feedback and teaching required skills for successful interview and recruitment.
Feedback revealed that most university graduates are not knowledgeable on how to write good curriculum vitae (CV) and many applicants do not possess appropriate interview skills. Also, the current economy recession of the country calls for career diversification. These observations necessitated the need for the exercise.
During the one week event, students will interact with captains of industries, Human Resource experts, high net worth individuals/entrepreneurs, recruiting firms etc.

NB: Students should submit three (3) copies of their CVs at the Counselling Centre for sorting/collation from Wednesday, September 14 to Friday, September 23, 2016. It is first come first to be served.
