What is the JAMB and Post UTME Cut-Off Mark of Kaduna Polytechnic, Kaduna for 2020/2021
Before I answer that question, it is important to know that there is difference between JAMB cut-off mark and Post UTME cut-off mark. The JAMB cut-off mark of Kaduna Polytechnic, Kaduna is the minimum score a candidate must obtain in JAMB before he/she can participate in the Post JAMB/UTME Screening of the school. The 2017/2018 JAMB cut-off mark of the school is 180.
Please note that scoring 180 in JAMB does not guarantee you admission in Kaduna Polytechnic, Kaduna. Rather, it only qualifies you to participate in the post UTME screening. This is why I always advice candidates to aim above the JAMB cut-off mark if they really want to be admitted.
After the post UTME screening, the school will come up with new cut-off marks for each course. These cut-off marks are known as Post UTME cut-off marks. Students that meet up with the Post UTME cut-off marks are given admission while those that did not meet up with them are denied admission regardless of the fact that they score up to the 2017/2018 JAMB cut-off mark.
It is also worthy to note that the Post UTME cut-off mark for each course in Kaduna Polytechnic, Kaduna varies from one academic session to another due to some factors. Specifically, the number of applicants for a course, the general performance of the applicants in the post UTME screening, and the admission capacity of that course determines the post UTME cut-off mark.
